The exhibition “Close-knit” presents artworks focussing on the love Ruthairat Kumsrichan has toward the traditional Thai ways of life that still mostly rely on nature as well as closely connect to religion and agriculture. The artist applies folk wisdoms such as the handicraft work, sewing, patching, and embroidery technique to create fascinating installation art that radiates coziness and also reminds viewers of the Thai root to which, for some people, their beloved ones belong.

นิทรรศการ “เย็บ ปะ ปัก ถัก ร้อย” นำเสนอผลงานศิลปะสื่อผสมด้วยเทคนิคทางภูมิปัญญาของชาวบ้าน คือ การเย็บ ปัก ปะ และชุนผ้า เพื่อสื่อถึงความรักความหวงแหนในวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมของครอบครัวไทยในชนบท ที่ยังคงมีแบบแผนอันสอดรับกับธรรมชาติ ผูกพันกับหลักธรรมคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนาและอาชีพทางการเกษตร อันเป็นพื้นเพดั้งเดิมของศิลปินหญิงมากความสามารถ ฤทัยรัตน์ คำศรีจันทร์
