Print from Forest is the latest art exhibition by Yanawit Kunchaethong, a renowned printmaker and art instructor from Silpakorn University. The abstract exhibition inspired by the artist’s idea about making prints that use organic colors made from plants and natural substances. This continuous principal of creation play a major part in the invention of many new colors, which during the process of creation bear eco-friendly prospect because of its non-toxic quality. The artist also wants to raise awareness about the importance of nature and its creation such as plant and flora that need to be valued and conserved.

นิทรรศการ “พิมพ์จากป่า” นำเสนอผลงานภาพพิมพ์นามธรรม ที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นจากแนวความคิดเกี่ยวกับการสรรหาสีสันจากจากผืนป่าและพันธุ์ไม้จากแหล่งต่างๆ มาใช้ในการทำงานศิลปะภาพพิมพ์สีธรรมชาติ ซึ่งเป็นกระบวนการที่ปราศจากสารเคมีอันตรายและไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อร่างกายมนุษย์หรือสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมทั้งยังแฝงไว้ด้วยแนวคิดของการให้คุณค่าต่อการอนุรักษ์และเห็นความสำคัญของพืชพรรณป่าไม้ในธรรมชาติ โดย ญาณวิทย์ กุญแจทอง ศิลปินและอาจารย์สอนศิลปะจากรั้วหน้าพระลาน ผู้ซึ่งยึดถือแนวทางการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานภาพพิมพ์ด้วยสีจากธรรมชาติมาอย่างต่อเนื่องยาวนาน

ญาณวิทย์ กุญแจทอง / YanawitKunchaethong
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ประจำภาควิชาภาพพิมพ์
ญาณวิทย์มีการแสดงผลงานเดี่ยวทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศมาแล้วถึง 21 ครั้ง ได้รับรางวัลทั้งในระดับชาติและระดับนานาชาติกว่า 16 รางวัล ในปี พ.ศ. 2554 ได้รับรางวัลที่4ภาพพิมพ์นานาชาติ จากนิทรรศการ “Kochi International Triennial Exhibition of Prints, Japan” เป็นศิลปินคนแรกที่ได้คิดค้นการพิมพ์ภาพพิมพ์โดยใช้สีจากธรรมชาติ ได้รับเชิญเป็นอาจารย์พิเศษในมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปะชั้นนำของประเทศญี่ปุ่นหลายแห่ง เช่น Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, Tama Art University, Kyoto University of Art and Design, Musashino Art University, Joshibi University of Art and Design เป็นผู้บรรยายและร่วม workshop ให้กับนักศึกษาและอาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัย Australia National University ในปี 2554ได้รับรางวัลผลงานประดิษฐ์คิดค้นจากสภาวิจัยแห่งชาติสาขาปรัชญา เรื่อง “กระบวนการสร้างภาพพิมพ์ด้วยสีธรรมชาติ” ร่วมแสดงในนิทรรศการ “ไทยโย” วัฒนธรรมสรรค์สร้างเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ ไทย - ญี่ปุ่น นิทรรศการแสดงเดี่ยว “Season Writes…Kyoto” นิทรรศการพิมพ์จากอดีต : ริมรอบขอบอาณาจักรสุโขทัย นิทรรศการ “วังท่าพระศูนย์กลางของช่างสิปป์หมู่ 200” และการแสดงนิทรรศการผลงานศิลปกรรมโครงการปฏิบัติการไทยเข้มแข็ง : ศิลปกรรมจากภูมิปัญญาไทย “วิจิตรศิลป์ – สินไทย” และได้รับเกียรติให้ร่วมแสดงนิทรรศการในงาน มหกรรมศิลปะร่วมสมัยนานาชาติแห่งเอเชีย ครั้งที่ 26 ณ สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี
